I go to Moraira every year and it hasn’t changed much. My Grandma and Granddad used to go there for a holiday but now they stay there because it’s so great.
I love going to Terra Mitica or Terra Natura because in Terra Mitica I always go on really exciting rides and in Terra Natura I cool off a bit in swimming pools which is why it’s great in summer! But sometimes I go at half term like in February and October and when I went there in October, the weather was just right there were no queues for the brilliant rides. My favourite is the Magnus Collosus which is quite scary and the Rapids of Argos (where you get splashed!). But there are rides for all ages: my little brother prefers the Jabatos which are like little bumper cars. Very close by is Mundomar which is a marine and exotic animal park. I went there one half-term with Grandma and Granddad and had a great time. And when it's hot there's always Aqualandia, which my dad also really enjoyed (probably a bit too much for a grown up!!). There are massive water slides for adults and smaller ones for us. It's a great way to cool down in the warm weather.
I love going to restaurants and cafes in Moraira, particularly Ribs which is a great restaurant that gives you…ribs! I love swimming in my Grandma and Granddad’s swimming pool and making new friends at the beach. You can meet children from all over Europe which is really interesting. Most kids gather around the climbing frame before going for a paddle in the sea. Sometimes I wade with a net in the stream that runs by the beach to the sea. If you don't fancy going on the climbing frame, or digging in the sand, you'll enjoy swimming in the sea or splashing around in the waves. My mum says you don't have to worry about boats, because they are fenced off away from the shore, so they can't go near you. I love walking in Moraira town because there are some great shops there.
At midday, I go and have a siesta if you’re going out that night and even when I’m not I go and have a siesta anyway because the sun is so hot I can’t do much else. Afterwards, I usually have a swim in the pool.
Sometimes after eating out we go to the funfair which is fun for me and my siblings and usually the adults stand around and chat!
